WEST COBB – Kennesaw Essentially everything west of I-75 is considered West Cobb County and that includes the great cities of Kennesaw, Powder Springs, and Acworth. What was once predominantly country is now one of the most rapidly growing areas in metro Atlanta, and the rolling, wooded terrain lends itself beautifully to residential developments.
Most homes in West Cobb are traditional, and West Cobb and Kennesaw Homes for sale are available in all ages and prices starting from about $200,000 to over $1,000,000. The average West Cobb new home price range is still lower than in East Cobb because land is more abundant farther out from the perimeter, but West Cobb once seen as “the place to go to get more home for the dollar” in Cobb, now has become more urban with many new shopping and entertainment centers like the Avenue West Cobb.
Starting in 2001, West Cobb has seen the development of many high end and luxury priced new home neighborhoods ranging from $500K to over $1.5 Million, including several golf communities. Harrison High and the new Kell High Schools are among the best in the county and homes in these school districts are much sought after.
